How confidant are you feeling today? I use ‘today’ advisedly because confidence is not something static; it’s mercurial. Some days we are fully of it, others, not so much… Lack of confidence is frequently offered as a reason why women don’t progress into senior management. Hmm, Quite possibly along with unconscious bias, and very conscious bias!

This time it’s female scientists who are far less likely to get a fair crack of the whip at conferences, which in turn, affects their careers. I saw them at the Bath Comedy Festival and just had to find out a little more about them. They are currently touring the UK. Do catch them if you can.
