It’s Not You, It’s Them


Well, OK sometimes it just might be you…but I work with so many women who feel they are not getting a fair crack at work and closer examination reveals they are facing some classic, albeit often unintentional, examples of sexism at work. If that sounds familiar, this post is for you.

An interesting snippet which might be of use:

Women get talked over by men at work. Yet both men and women think women talk most in meetings.

Research shows they don’t actually talk most, men do.

Are you being silently silenced at work? If your voice isn’t being heard your organisation could be missing out. You certainly are.

Speak Up. You are woman, roar a little.
