Three Ways to Give a Helping Hand

Helping hand by Lusi Stck Xchge

Got the midweek blues? How about giving out rather than giving in? You’ll feel better and they’ll feel better; it works every time.

You could:

  • Share some of your knowledge with someone in a way that supports and encourages them

  • Acknowledge something a colleague or service worker has done in a positive and affirming way- a thank you note, or maybe pass your praise to their manager

  • Help someone with a task for no other reason than that you’re helping a fellow human being out i.e. carry someone’s shopping, help with a report or help them fold up a pushchair

“No one has ever become poor by giving.” ―Anne Frank
