It’s really hard to have a smile on your face if you are feeling tired and stressed. Stress in our bodies accumulates, sometimes so slowly that we often don’t realise we are walking around with tight shoulders and a fixed smile/grimace on our face.
Happiness Tip 3 – Remember to give yourself a breather now and again during your working day. Even just ten minutes sitting somewhere quietly can give you a quick boost. Put your phone on silent, (honestly, it’ll be fine), find a quiet spot, kick off your shoes, close your eyes, breath, and relax.
