Today it’s time to take stock of what you’ve got going for you.
Thinking about the principles of appreciative inquiry, list all the things that are working well in your life right now. They don’t have to be massively big things. We all have a natural tendency to focus on things we want to change, those things which might be giving us grief. That’s fine up to a point, but if we spend our energies on our problems they can become bigger and more intractable in our minds.
Make space in your head for what you are doing well, what works for you, and then consider why does it work for you? What are you actually doing right?
Then try and do a bit more of that!
