- 21.2% of local government chief executives are women
- 18.7% of all judges are women

I wonder what it is in the US?
Women rule everywhere
There’s still a lot to be done with regards to the professional advancement of women. Have a look at the sex and power report 2008 published by the equalities commission.
Thanks Veronica -The comment that stuck with most in the report was the one about how far a snail could travel:
• the entire length of the Great Wall of China in 212 years, only slightly longer than the 200 years it will take for women to be equally represented in Parliament.
It’s sobering!
